Who We Are...

Our Beliefs

Our congregation believes we are “Called to grow to share God’s love and hope with all.” As such, we strive to be welcoming to all who grace our doors, and to work with our community to spread the good news of Christ through the action of our hands. We are nonjudgmental and welcome anyone who desires to experience God’s presence, love and hope. We are grounded in Lutheran Evangelical tradition and our worship includes liturgy and music that can be both traditional and more modern. We conduct worship regularly on Sundays and Holy Week, and during Advent and Lent we celebrate with mid-week services and shared suppers. Our ministry extends to the children of Kiddie Korner, who participate weekly (on a volunteer basis) in Christian Education, fun, and learning.

We offer weekly communion, and a monthly Bible Study. We offer Sunday School, Confirmation classes as needed, and host an 8 week Summer Bible Camp that explores our faith, the Bible, and its relevance to our community and the world. Our Christian Education focus is strongly centered on applying our faith to everyday life, and sharing with others. The children of Kiddie Korner also are invited to participate in our weekly Bible Camp.

Some Additions

Over the years, Holy Trinity Lutheran Church has grown to better serve our neighbors. Our facility now features a library and an administrative wing, and we are proud to house the Kiddie Korner Child Development Center on our lower level. We also host Blessings Through Adoption of Beaver County, a faith-based non-profit dedicated to supporting and equipping adoptive, foster, and kinship families.

Music remains a cornerstone of our worship. Our volunteer choir is accompanied by a historic 1898 Felgemacher Seven Rank Tracker Pipe Organ—a gift from St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Rochester, PA, dedicated here in 1991.

Today, we serve as a joint parish with Hope Lutheran Church in Brighton Township. While we cherish our individual identities, we share a pastor and a unified mission. Together, we strengthen our witness to the Gospel and extend God’s love throughout our community.

Our History

The Congregation of Holy Trinity was established in 1928 with the purchase of two houses in Beaver, Pa. at the corner of Beaver and Fourth Streets. One of these houses became the church sanctuary, and the other housed the Pastor and Sunday School. In the early 1950’s the congregation purchased the present property and started building a new sanctuary, which was dedicated in 1963, and is its current home. Since our inception, we have sought to share God’s Word, and offer a home to those who want to join us in worshipping God, praising Him, and sharing His love with others.
