Outdoor service and parish picnic will be held on August 18th at Two Mile Run Park. Please look for more information in the next newsletter and bullentins.

This years theme is “Weird Animals”. It will be held from June 10th through July 11th on Mondays and Thursdays. Not meeting on July 4th week. Please let Judy McClune or Nancy Wertz know the names of those who are interested in attending. Monetary donations are always welcome.

The annual Synod Assembly is being held on June 14th and 15th and each congregation is invited to have two members attend as voting members and one youth. This year’s assembly will take place at Penn West University – California (Formerly Cal U). You will have the option of attending in person or online via ZOOM meetings. If anyone is interested please let Pastor know. Registration is needed by May 25th

The annual yard sale will be held on Saturday, July 13th at Hope. Please look for more information in the bulletin and next newsletter. Please start saving your items to donate.

The retreat planning committe is now planning for a Women’s retreat on May 4th from 9:30 to 2:30. The theme is “Forgiveness – Learning to let go” Please sign up and join us!

Pre-Event at Uncommon Ground Cafe at 2:00 p.m./4:00 p.m. Panel discussion: “Civil Rights Leaders of Yesterday and Today” and Youth activity / 5:00 p.m. free dinner and 6:30 worship with Holy Communion.

Remember to bring your flowers to put in the cross to celebrate the Easter Season.

We will be collecting monetary donations for the food pantry in Darlington on the second Sunday of each month. Please mark your envelope with FOOD PANTRY.

First Sunday of each month we will be collecting snacks, lunch, and breakfast items. Please place items in the blue bin in the Narthex.

We will be collecting for ELCA World Hunger Appeal.
