The Women of Hope General meeting will be held on December 9th at 7:00 p.m. All women of the Parish are invited to attend. There will be a gift exchange for those who wish to participate. ($10 gift) Refreshments will be served.

Pastor Martin Galbraith will lead services at Holy Trinity and Hope on this day. Pastor Margarethe will be leading worship at New Hope as part of their Thank Offering service.

Pastor Margarethe was in attendance for the welcoming of Bishop Melissa L. Stoller

At Berkley Hills Lutheran Church, The Rev. Melissa L. Stoller was formally installed as Bishop of the Southwestern Pennsylvania Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA)—becoming the first woman ever to serve in this role.

Elected on June 13 and beginning her term on September 1, 2025, Bishop Stoller brings a legacy of faithful leadership and service—from her years as Director for Evangelical Mission and Assistant to the Bishop, to her pastoral ministry across Pennsylvania, Minnesota, and abroad.

The installation service, presided over by ELCA Presiding Bishop Yehiel Curry, was a profound celebration of calling, community, and continuity.
