Join us on May 11th, 9:00 a.m. weather permitting, for an outdoor spring clean-up.

Thanks to everyone who helped make this Easter Season even more beautiful.

For the month of March, we will be collecting cleaning supplies for Faith Restorations. Please remember we are also collecting plastic bags and egg cartons. Please place in your Churches designated area. Also, look under your Church news for more ways to donate.

The Lenten Devotions and Bookmarks are now available.  Please pick up your copy.

Sunday, March 10th

Plan on joining us for a joint worship service at 10:30 a.m. at Hope. We will have a pot luck luncheon after worship. Planned is a presentation from the District Attorney on how the elderly, as well as anyone else, can avoid fraud. Also door prizes!!

Bible study will resume on March 18th from 10:30 to noon, at Hope. We will be studying the Gospel of Luke. Please let Pastor Freda know if you plan on attending.

Please join us for ASH Wednesday on March 6th, at 7:00 p.m. also our Worship Services for Lent our theme this year is Convicted. Each service puts a different biblical person from the story of Christ’s passion and death on trial, accused of an actual crimes.

Wednesday, March 13th at 7:00 p.m. (Hope Lutheran Church) – Dereliction of Duty: In this weeks service we look at the case against Jesus’ disciples on the charge of dereliction of duty

Wednesday, March 20th at 7:00 p.m. (Holy Trinity Lutheran Church) – Treason: In this weeks service we look at the case against Judas on the charge of treason, a betrayal of trust against authority.

Wednesday, March 27th at 7:00 p.m. (Hope Lutheran Church) – Perjury: In this weeks service we look at the case against Peter on the charge of perjury, denying under an oath that he knew Jesus.

Wednesday, April 3rd at 7:00 p.m. (Holy Trinity Lutheran Church) – Obstruction of Justice: In this weeks service we will look at the case against Pontius Pilate on the charge of obstruction of justice, for not letting Jesus go free.

Wednesday, April 10th at 7:00 p.m. (Hope Lutheran Church) – Rebellion: In this weeks service we look at the case against Barabbas on the charge on rebellion.

On the second Sunday of each month, we will take up a “Noisy Collection”. That is a monetary donation of loose change (paper bills are also welcome!) to be donated to the Faith Restoration Food Pantry in Monaca.

We will be collecting other items as follows:
February – Paper products & Toilet paper
March – Cleaning Supplies
April – Storage Bags (Quart and Gallon)
May – Gift Cards, Sheetz, Get-Go (for gas)

Please join us for our Advent midweek worship series, “God With Us”. Each week will focus on a different word picture of the coming Christ found in the poetic and prophetic words of Isaiah. We will be using Holden Evening Prayer.
