The retreat planning committe is now planning for a Women’s retreat on May 4th from 9:30 to 2:30. The theme is “Forgiveness – Learning to let go” Please sign up and join us!

After meeting Pastor Romella Sharaz of Pakistan, Pastor Margarethe has learned of her parish’s need for books to send two children to Christian School. Council has agreed to sponsor these children at the cost of $30 per month for 17 months. Please let Sharon Gulish know if you are intersted in contributing.

General meeting on April 9th at 7:00 p.m. Pastor Margarethe will present a slide show of Jesus’s journey to the cross in Jerusalem. Also, there will be a yummy dessert! Please let Dee Phillips know if you are planning to attend.

Sunday, April 7th at 4:00 p.m. House of Prayer in Aliquippa and Livesteamed. Preaching: Rev CeCee Mills, North Carolina Synod and Presiding Bishop Kurt Kusserow

Pre-Event at Uncommon Ground Cafe at 2:00 p.m./4:00 p.m. Panel discussion: “Civil Rights Leaders of Yesterday and Today” and Youth activity / 5:00 p.m. free dinner and 6:30 worship with Holy Communion.

We are providing dinner one evening a month for the guests at the men’s shelter. Please sign up for the next meal which will be on March 11th.

Choir rehersal for Easter perpartation has begun and continues at 8:30 a.m. before worship.

Remember to bring your flowers to put in the cross to celebrate the Easter Season.

Midweek Lenten service at Holy Trinity Lutheran on Wednesday, February 28th.

Our next midweek will be at Hope on Wednesday, March 6th with supper at 6:00 p.m., followed by the Taizé  service at 7:00 p.m.

Wednesday Lenten supper 6pm and Service of Light Evening Prayer Services 7pm will beging on February 21 and continue to March 20th. The schedule is as follows.

February 21st – Hope
February 28th – HTLC
March 6th – Hope
March 13th – HTLC
March 20th – Hope
