First Advent Wednesday evening service on December 6th at Holy Trinity
Second Advent Wednesday evening service on December 13th at Hope
Third Advent Wednesday evening service on December 20th at Holy Trinity
Fourth Advent service on Sunday morning December 24th at regular Sunday service times Holy Trinity at 9:15 am and Hope at 11:00 am

We’re planning a day of prayer with different ways of praying. Begining with continental breakfast goodies at registration and morning break, we’ll have 3 prayer sessions, along with lunch. Our service project for the day is Brighton Rehab blessing bags. There is a list posted of items needed to fill the bags.

Wonderful evening at Holy Trinity featuring Michael Kearney (Organist, Pianist and Composer) thank you all for joining us, and for the support.

Any student in junior high in invited to join the parish confirmation class that will start in October. We will meet at 3 pm at Holy Trinity on Wednesday afternoons begining October 4th. Please contact Holy Trinity , Hope or Pastor Margarethe if you are interested.

From September 10th to the 22nd we are participating in a memorial to those lost to gun violence in Western PA. The Sisters of St. Joseph will provide a display of T-Shirts with the names of those who have died 1/1 – 7/15/23. They will be setting up on September 10th after worship, and there will be an outside service at Holy Trinity on September 12th at 6:00 p.m. as part of the remembrance. Please come and also participate in the ice cream social which will follow the service.

Both churches are supporting the mens shelter in different ways. Please see more information on your church page in the montly newsletter.

Total raised $2010.00. Donated $1010 to Lutherlyn, $300 each to Big Brothers and Big Sisters, Ymca, Mens’s shelter and Children and Youth Society. Thanks again to all for a succesful yard sale.

A memorial to stem gun violence. A list of those killed by gun violence in Western Pennsylvania so far in 2023. The display will begin at Sisters of St. Joseph in Baden and will come to Holy Trinity in August. Will start August 21st and last two weeks.

This year we will have a service project through our wheel a thon, raising money for “Nicolena’s Wishes”. This is a charitable foundation that provides a safe place for youth and their families that struggle with mental health issues. This is such an important and amazing local mission. Help us make a difference in our communties. We will collect funds until September.
