Hope Lutheran

Hope will hold their congregational meeting in February.  Hope council members please have your committee reports to Robin by January 26th. Congregational members please give any corrections or address or phone numbers to Robin by January 26th.

Our annual yard sale is to be held in the spring or early summer. We will take clothes, shoes and all other donations! Please bring items in and place in the Sunday School room located in the hallway to the social hall.

I share this news with excitement and sadness. I have accepted a call to be the Pastor of Seaman Memorial Lutheran church and Chaplain of Passavant Community in Zelienople I am excited for this new opportunity God is leading be to but sad to have to say goodbye to so many wonderful people. Dave and I will be moving and I ask for your prayers during this time of transition. My last Sunday at Holy Trinity and Hope is September 29.

Camp Lutherlyn Jump into Fun Campaign: Lutherlyn has begun a campaign to help replace the ball courts. They are planning to create a new space with a jump pillow, a picnic shelter, and updated basketball court, and space for other fun recreational activities. A brochure on the campaign is available on the bulletin board.

Holy Trinity in accepting donations for the replacement of the Ramp.

There is now a small library at Hope in the Sunday School “collection” room. There are some resource materials including Luther’s small Catechism, along with some children’s material. Please sign your name on the tablet when you borrow anything and check it off when returning.

Our Joint Yard Sale will be held at Hope on, Saturday June 29th. Please bring your items in and place in Sunday School Room.

Please join us at Hope every Monday at 10:30 as we will be studying the Gospel of Luke. All our welcome!

Women of Hope board meeting will be held after Church on May 5th. The outreach project for this month is monetary donations for ELCA Good Gifts program that helps support and educate families to better help themselves.
